Functional Movement Assessment - what to expect? (can be claimed as 'physiotherapy' under extended health plans)
The purpose of a functional movement assessement is to highlight inefficiencies which could put a person at risk of injury. It can also be a useful tool for improving general physical health and performance in sport. Anyone can receive a screening assessment.
  • Includes a comprehensive history
  • Using standardized protocols, each area of the body will be screened for:
    • Mobility
    • Stability
    • Proprioception
    • Movement control
  • This helps us to profile you and create an individualized program

If you want to know more about how a functional assessment could help you please give us a call (250-871-7177) and we would be happy to discuss your individual requirements & advise the best course of action for you.
